Frank Castillo is an image maker and director specializing in timepieces, with selected fine jewelry work. He has spent more than fifteen years in the category, works from South Florida and is commissioned worldwide, including by brands and agencies working out of Los Angeles.
Campaign timepiece photography is rarely a local decision. Work is produced in the studio, with the product shipped in or brought by the client, and creative directors are welcome to attend the shoot. Selected projects can be shot on location where the piece or the campaign requires it. What decides the commission is whether the images hold at the scale the campaign runs at.

CAMPAIGNS
Campaign photography for timepiece brands, built around the materials hardest to render honestly: brushed and polished steel, sapphire, applied indices, mother-of-pearl.

MACRO
Detail work at the scale a collector reads. Finishing, dial texture and movement architecture, photographed so what separates one caliber from another survives reproduction.

MOTION
Product films, macro video and social cutdowns, directed as part of the same commission as the stills so the two match in grade and rhythm. Broadcast work has aired on NBC.
